A 27-year-old Silverdale, Washington man is recovering from punching himself in the face. He told Kitsap County sheriff's deputies he hit himself because he was "freaking out" over a possible government shutdown and was worried about the prospect of no work and mounting bills. His girlfriend called 911 because they were arguing.
