If you don't know what a Rube Goldberg machine is, OK GO built a huge one when they shot the music video for "This Too Shall Pass".
It seemed like the biggest Rube Goldberg machine ever, but it only LOOKED like the video was done in one take. They actually cheated, and someone found a couple of hidden cuts in it.
But an engineering team at Purdue just built the most complex Rube Goldberg machine FOR REAL. The video is just over two minutes long, and the machine's soul purpose is to blow up a balloon then pop it.
