The Hudson, New Hampshire Police Department recently arrested Scott Wellington for lying about his wife's death in order to get money from his employer. The 31 year-old told his bosses at C&M Machine that his wife was seriously ill with cancer. They donated $7,000 to cover her medical expenses. Scott then told his employers that his wife had died. She called the company and told them Scott was lying after they sent a sympathy card. The company then called the police.
