Bahama Buck's shaved ice company recently built the world's largest snow cone in Lubbock, Texas. It weighed more than 25,000 pounds and stood taller than a house. Bahama Buck owner Blake Buchanan built the cone for charity and to break the Guiness world record. He says, "We wanted to pack the ice above the cup, but the winds came and blew it around as we were packing it on. It was windier than we expected so we settled for 5 feet above the rim." The effort raised more than $12,000 for charities that provide local children with safe housing.
