5 Million People Watched Sarah Palin's Reality Show
The premiere of "Sarah Palin's Alaska" drew 5 million viewers on Sunday night.
That was enough to make it TLC's biggest series premiere EVER . . . although it wasn't close to being the network's highest-rated broadcast. In June of last year, an episode of "Jon and Kate Plus 8" scored 10.6 million viewers.
Still, 5 million viewers for pretty much anything on cable is a big deal.
"Sarah Palin's Alaska" is basically a glorified reality show, in which Sarah acts as a travel guide, showing off how awesome Alaska is. (--At least in theory, that is.)
(--If you missed it, Gawker.com has put together a list of "The Five Most Ridiculous Moments from the "Sarah Palin's Alaska" premiere. It includes videos. Here's the link . . .)
