SEAN PENN has been going to Haiti to help with the earthquake relief effort . . . but not everybody thinks his heart is in the right place.
--There are those who've accused him of exploiting the tragedy to improve his public image . . . and others who think it's hypocritical for him to complain about the misfortune and injustice, then go back home to his millions of dollars.
--Well, Sean has a special wish for those who doubt his sincerity . . . quote, "You know, do I hope that those people die screaming of rectal cancer? Yeah. You know, but I'm not going to spend a lot of energy on it."
