Air New Zealand's New "Skycouch" Seats

People always talk about joining 'The Mile-High Club' when they fly. Personally, I'd be happy just getting a good night's sleep. But it's almost impossible. That's why THIS is sort of brilliant . . .

--Earlier this year, officials with Air New Zealand announced that starting in November, some of its flights will feature a new type of economy seat called the "Skycouch."

--Basically, the Skycouch is like three regular economy seats that are linked together to form a "couch." And there's a footrest that folds up to create a platform for sleeping.

--And if you've got some extra money to burn, you can also book one of Air New Zealand's business premier seats, which recline all the way back to create a flat surface for sleeping.
