An Elementary School Teacher Had Her Daughter Take The Breathalyzer On Her Car's Court-Ordered Ignition Lock

Now it's time to recognize our Idiot Mother of the Day . . . 46-year-old Lisa Dinucci of Merrimack, New Hampshire (--about 50 miles northwest of Boston).

--In 2008, Lisa was arrested for DWI. There were three kids in the car at the time, her two daughters and a neighbor kid. As a result, Lisa was ordered to put an alcohol breath test on the ignition of her car.

--Basically, it requires Lisa to pass a breathalyzer before the car will start. Which shouldn't have been a problem, except that Lisa likes to drink. A lot.

--Last week, Lisa's daughter admitted she's helped her mother cheat the ignition lock at least two times . . . once last month, and once two weekends ago.

--Apparently, Lisa was way too hammered to pass the test on her own, so she made her daughter do it for her.

--Now Lisa's been charged with two counts of alcohol ignition interlock circumvention. Her license has already been revoked, and she's scheduled to go to trial in June.

--According to a police spokeswoman, quote, "This still is an ongoing investigation. There could be an endangering the welfare of a child charge, as well."
