--According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, roughly ONE in SIX American adults are infected with GENITAL HERPES. (!!!)
--That includes 11.5% of men, and about 21% of women. It also includes 12% of whites, and 39% of blacks.
--Overall, black women have the highest rate of genital herpes infection at 48%. That's right . . . nearly HALF of all black women have genital herpes.
--But it gets worse: According to officials with the CDC, 80% of the people with genital herpes DON'T KNOW THEY'RE INFECTED. (Reuters)
