I've got nothing but respect for working mothers, because they've basically got TWO full-time jobs. But I'm no expert on child psychology. Not like THIS guy . . .
--Dr. Dennis Friedman is a fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK.
--In a new book called "An Unsolicited Gift", Dr. Friedman claims that working mothers who leave their kids with a nanny may be inadvertently turning their sons into SERIAL WOMANIZERS.
--According to Dr. Friedman, being cared for by two women confuses baby boys, and causes them to internalize the idea that they need multiple women to meet their needs. And when they grow up, it causes them to cheat on women.
--Or in Dr. Friedman's own words, having a nanny, quote, "introduces him to the concept of the other woman.
--"It creates a division in his mind between the woman he knows to be his natural mother, and the woman with whom he has a real hands-on relationship: The woman who bathes him and takes him to the park, and with whom he feels completely at one.
--"As a result, he grows up with the idea that although he will one day go through all the social and sexual formalities of marriage, he will have at the back of his mind the notion of this other woman, who not only knows, but caters for, all his needs."
--And Dr. Friedman says leaving the kids with a nanny can screw up your daughters too, because it leaves them with a, quote, "vacuum of need" that they could fill later in life with drugs, alcohol, money, or promiscuous sex.
