It's On Between The Two Hot Chicks
On The U.S. Ski Team

U.S. skiers LINDSEY VONN and JULIA MANCUSO finished 1st and 2nd in the Women's Downhill event. Each of them added another medal later in the Olympics. I can only think of one thing better for American ski fans: CAT FIGHT!

--Yahoo reported that a rivalry between the two ladies has, quote, "been bubbling under the surface'' throughout the Olympics. And it finally burst out in the open yesterday.

--Julia basically went after Lindsey for being more famous, and said, quote, ''People are having a hard time reaching their potential, because it's such a struggle for attention. You come to meetings after races and it's like it's a bad day if Lindsey didn't do well.''

--Vonn took the high road, and said that Julia's attack, quote, ''hurt me'' and ''just bums me out''.

--And yesterday's Giant Slalom didn't smooth anything out. Vonn crashed into the safety netting, then took too long untangling herself. Mancuso was the next skier and got penalized for starting her race before Vonn was out of the way.

--She had to stop, go back to the top of the mountain, and wait another 13 skiers before restarting. By then, fog had set in, and Mancuso ended up finishing in 18th place. So she left the course in tears.
