MSNBC To GOP Congressman: "Do You Have A Degree In Economics?"
Yesterday, MSNBC's Contessa Brewer was interviewing a Republican Congressman from Alabama named Mo Brooks. And when she said that the country would be in a depression if it wasn't for the bailout, Brooks said he disagreed. So Contessa challenged him and said, quote, "Do you have a degree in economics?" Then she seemed caught off guard when Brooks said, quote, "Yes, ma'am. I do. Highest honors." Brooks graduated from Duke University in three years with a double major in political science and economics.
