The L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services just finished an investigation of MARIAH CAREY . . . and she's in the clear.
The investigation was launched after someone anonymously complained that Mariah was drinking GUINNESS BEER at the hospital after giving birth to her twins . . . whom she was breastfeeding.
Well, the DCFS interviewed Mariah yesterday and she ADMITTED to drinking the beer. But she said she was just following the advice of a hospital staffer who told her dark beer would assist the lactation process.
According to TMZ, they let her off the hook.
