Genealogist Chrissey Lawson says Barack Obama and Donald Trump may be related. Mary Forsythe, an 11th cousin of Obama's from Canada, believes the President's family roots stretch back to the Scottish Isle of Lewis, where Trump's mother was born. Lawson says, "It is extremely likely that Mary's family would have married a Macleod back in time. So it is possible that Obama and Trump are distantly related through marriage. It does not mean that Obama has Scottish blood necessarily - that would need DNA testing - but there is a definite connection to Lewis through marriage."
