A Phoenix boy is set to undergo surgery to remove a leaking battery from his stomach. He swallowed the small lithium battery after opening a DVD player remote. The boy's mother, Karla Ranch says, "When we found out that the battery was lodged in his esophagus, we were devastated, sickened, shocked. We couldn't believe that this could have happened."
