On Sunday, at Logan International Airport in Boston, customs officials caught a woman with one huge load in her adult diaper. 22-year-old Karen Morla-Ramos was flying into Boston from Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic and she made customs officials suspicious. Karen seemed nervous. She couldn't remember details about her trip. She name-dropped ROSIE PEREZ for some reason. And, above all, they were suspicious because she was a 22-year-old woman who was clearly wearing a very bulky ADULT DIAPER. They conducted a pat-down and found out why she was wearing the diaper . . . it was jammed full of COCAINE. More than a KILO of cocaine. (--A kilo is equal to 2.2 pounds.)
Karen told the officials that she owed a man $800, and he promised to wipe out the debt if she smuggled the cocaine into the U.S. The original plan was for her to swallow the drugs, but that didn't work, so they came up with the diaper plan. She's being held on a cocaine trafficking charge.
