A Suncoast Energy gas station near the Orlando International Airport is charging $5.39 for a gallon of regular gas, $5.44 for plus and $5.49 for premium. They say they can do it because they are one of the last gas stations travelers see before the airport and rental return locations. The least expensive gas is in Wyoming, where the state average for a gallon of regular unleaded is $3.19 a gallon. California and Hawaii have the most expensive gas at $3.90 on average. The new national average for a gallon of regular unleaded is nearly $3.52.
