CBS and Warner Brothers fired Charlie Sheen from Two And A Half Men yesterday.
WB released a statement that read: "After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services on Two and a Half Men effective immediately. There is ample evidence supporting Warner Bros. reasonable good faith opinion that Mr. Sheen has committed felony offenses involving moral turpitude (including but not limited to furnishing of cocaine to others as part of the self-destructive lifestyle he has described publicly) that have ‘interfere[d] with his ability to fully and completely render all material services required’ under the agreement.” WB claims Charlie has a clause in his contract that says they can fire a performer who commits "a felony offense involving moral turpitude."
John Stamos and Rob Lowe may replace Charlie if CBS decides to continue the show.
Charlie told TMZ… "This is very good news. They continue to be in breach, like so many whales. It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can take all of the bazillions, never have to look at whatshiscock again and I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension."
He later told Access Hollywood: “I put 5 bil in their cheap suit pockets and another half a bil in what’s-his-cheese’s pockets and this is the f**king respect I get? It’s just deplorable, and they should be ashamed of themselves!”
Charlie may do a nationwide tour similar to the one Conan did after he got tossed at NBC.
INTERN WANTED… Charlie Sheen is looking to hire an intern to manage his social media accounts. The actor tweeted: "I'm looking to hire a #winning INTERN with #TigerBlood. Need Social Media Intern to manage the logistics around his social media efforts, monitor the day-to-day activities on the major social media platforms, prepare for exciting online projects and increase his base of followers." Internships.com is Charlie's first Twitter sponsor.
