President Obama Won't Say How He Identified His Race On The Census Form

Yesterday was "Census Day" . . . the federal government's unofficial deadline for sending in your 2010 census form.

--Anyway, PRESIDENT OBAMA filled out his census form earlier this week, supplying information for himself, MICHELLE, his daughters MALIA and SASHA, and Michelle's mom . . . Marian Robinson . . . who also lives in the White House.

--But when reporters asked the president what box he checked to identify his race, Obama refused to answer.

--As you probably know, Obama's mother was white, and his father was black. Both are options on the form, and there's also a box you can check for, quote, "some other race."

--Either way, we imagine Obama didn't identify himself as "Negro," which actually IS an option on the census form. Allegedly, it's because older black people complained it wasn't an option on the last census in 2000. (???)
