--While researching the book, she decided to find out what would happen if you left out a McDonald's hamburger Happy Meal unrefrigerated for an ENTIRE YEAR.

--At the end of the year, Nonna took a photo of the Happy Meal. And the thing is, it doesn't look nearly as disgusting as you might expect.

--Which is actually pretty disgusting in its own, special way.
