A Judge In Australia Ordered Two Young Girls To Spend Weekends With Their Pedophile Father

I understand that when it comes to child custody, parental rights are a pretty big deal. But THIS is clearly just a terrible idea . . .

--Recently, a judge on the Australian island of Tasmania awarded a father weekend custody of his two daughters. One of them is eight years old, and the other one is ten years old. And ordinarily, that wouldn't be a big deal.

--Except that their father is a convicted SEX OFFENDER and PEDOPHILE who was arrested in 2007 for possession of child pornography. (!!!)

--According to the judge, the two girls are, quote, "at an age and maturity when awake, dressed and together it would be unlikely the father would act inappropriately toward them.

--"However, at night, when they were asleep or partly asleep and not aware of each other's whereabouts, they would be less secure."

--To solve that little issue, the judge ordered a lock be installed on the girls' bedroom door so they'll be safe from their dad at night.

--And the father's also required to have a, quote, "adult friend" with him whenever the girls stay over. (--Of course . . . because why leave the girls with ONE sex offender when you can leave them with TWO sex offenders?) (???)
